Motorola DROID is coming with Android 2.1
Posted on February 9th, 2010 5 commentsAccording to Motorola’s Facebook page, the DROID smartphone will be getting the Android 2.1 update this week. Motorola will be sending the upgrade over-the-air, similar to the 2.0.1 update.

So DROID users will be getting pinch-to-zoom in the browser and gallery, and pre-installed Google Goggles, among other features that have not been made official yet.We’re happy to relay the 2.1 upgrade to DROID will start to roll out this week, and we will have more information to share on other device upgrades later this week as well.
