Samsung Galaxy Apollo Headed for UK “Soon”
Posted on June 11th, 2010 No comments
Head over to Samsung’s UK page for smartphones and you will see a model called the Galaxy Apollo. Listed as coming soon with no specs or details, we think we know what is under the hood. The Apollo bears more than a passing resemblance to the Korean M100S (pictured below) launched back in February so it only seems logical to assume the insides are the same. The M100S is an Android 2.1 phone and features an 800MHz processor, a 3.7-inch AMOLED display, 5 megapixel camera with 720p support, WiFi (802.11n), GPS, T-DMB, DivX support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. We’re going to go ahead and assume the Apollo will run Samsung’s Touchwiz 3.0 user interface. Sounds like a pretty decent phone if you ask me – just as capable as anything else on the market right now.
